Giselle Carratala focuses her practice on international tax and estate matters. She advises international high net worth individuals and families on international tax and estate planning, trusts, pre-immigration planning, and international transactional matters.
Giselle earned her joint Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, and LL.M. in Taxation with an International Tax Concentration at the University of Miami School of Law in 2020. While at the University of Miami, she served as an Executive Editor of the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review, Volume 50. She earned the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award for Legal Communication and Research in 2016. She also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Legal Communication and Research in 2016 and for Professional Responsibility in 2019. Giselle earned her Bachelor of Arts at Macalester College.
Giselle is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida. She is a member of the Tax and Real Property, Probate & Trust sections of the Florida Bar, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), and the Greater Miami Tax Institute.
Giselle was raised in Miami and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
