
Gabrielle A.C. Thomas focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts, with a particular focus on international fraud, trusts, cryptocurrency, and judgment collection cases. She is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Caribbean Bar Association and the University of Miami Black Alumni Society.
Before joining the firm, Gabrielle served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Enjoliqué Lett in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Prior to her clerkship, she practiced full-spectrum civil litigation, including complex matters across commercial, trust, business, personal injury, and banking law.
In May 2024, Gabrielle earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where she distinguished herself as a Miami Public Interest Scholar, Soia Mentschikoff Scholar, Research Assistant to Professor Alfieri and the Center for Ethics and Public Service, Research Assistant to Professor Marcia Weldon, Director of the Transactional Skills Program, Fellow for the Human Rights Clinic, President of the Caribbean Law Students Association, and Vice President of the Human Rights Society. As a law student, she gained experience at a litigation boutique specializing in receiverships, fraud, and complex civil litigation, as well as at a local nonprofit that provides free civil legal services to low-income communities. Through her clinical work, she collaborated with members and commissioners of the United Nations and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, contributing to both organizations’ formal recommendations.
In May 2021, Gabrielle graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Davidson College, where she specialized in political science, political economy, and history. She was honored with the Wangari Maathai Award for Leadership and Academic Excellence. Born and raised in Jamaica, Gabrielle moved to the United States after earning a full scholarship to attend The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey.

Gabrielle is active in Miami’s legal community. She is President-Elect of the Caribbean Bar Association (“CBA”).
Gabrielle enjoys the arts – dancing, theatre, visual arts, poetry, and music. During college, she founded and managed an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed publication for three years, reviewing submissions from three countries and ten undergraduate universities. The journal featured visual arts, poetry, prose, and essays.
