Ilana Gucovschi is involved in the range of the firm’s complex international cases. She is admitted to The Florida Bar and awaiting admission to The New York Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Ilana has native fluency and literacy in Spanish and English.
Ilana was born in Bogota, Colombia, and grew up in Miami. She graduated from the University of Miami in 2020 with a major in Philosophy and earned her Juris Doctor degree from Fordham Law School, in New York, in 2023. While in law school, Ilana was active in the Jewish Law Students Association and the Latin American Law Students Association. She was also a member of Fordham’s Center on Law and Information Policy, Privacy Educator program, where she taught elementary school students best practices for using phones and social media while avoiding cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
In her final semester, Ilana served as a research assistant to former Dean and current Norris Professor of Law at Fordham Law School, John D. Feerick, and researched and co-edited a speech on ADR in commercial cases that he presented to the New York State Bar Association in 2023, which was later published in the online magazine, “Alternatives.”
