Giselle Carratala focuses her practice on international taxation matters. As a member of the firm’s tax, estate, and corporate practice group, she advises international high net worth families on international tax planning, trusts, pre-immigration planning and international transactional matters.
Giselle graduated from Macalester College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies in 2012. She earned her joint Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, and LL.M. in Taxation with an International Tax Concentration from the University of Miami School of Law in 2020. While at the University of Miami, she served as an Executive Editor of the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review, Volume 50. Giselle earned the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award for Legal Communication and Research in 2016. She also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Legal Communication and Research in 2016 and for Professional Responsibility in 2019. Giselle was admitted to the Florida Bar and joined the Tax and International Law Sections of the Florida Bar in 2021.
Giselle was raised in Miami and speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
